Luxardo Manhattan

Place a generous amount of ice cubes into an Old Fashioned glass.

Slice an orange peel, twist it to release its oils, and rub it along the inside of the glass, keeping the peel for later use.

Add both types of bitters, followed by the Maraschino liqueur, and then pour in the rye whiskey.

Stir the mixture gently to combine the flavors.

Garnish with a Maraschino cherry and the reserved orange peel.
