Refrigerate both the Grand Marnier or other cognac orange liqueur and the Irish cream liqueur until cold.

Carefully layer the Grand Marnier or other cognac orange liqueur into the chilled shot glass.

Gently pour the Irish cream liqueur over the back of a spoon to create a distinct layer on top of the orange liqueur.
