21st Century Negroni

Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare a garnish by twisting a strip of grapefruit zest and slicing an orange wedge.

Stir the Mancino Vermouth di Torino Chinato, Hayman's London Dry Gin, Strucchi Red Bitter, Strucchi Bianco Vermouth, and Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters with ice until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled Old Fashioned glass, preferably using a large cube or a chunk of block ice.

Express the grapefruit zest twist over the cocktail to release its oils, then discard the twist.

Garnish the drink with the prepared orange wedge or slice.
