Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill an Double Old Fashioned Glass.

Prepare a garnish of a pineapple wedge and a Luxardo Maraschino cherry.

Dry blend the rum, pineapple juice, freshly squeezed lemon juice, rich sugar syrup, and grenadine syrup on a slow setting. Gradually add the xanthan gum while continuing to blend.

Add a scoop of crushed ice to the mixture and blend again.

Pour the blended mixture into the chilled glass.

Garnish with the pineapple wedge skewered with the maraschino cherry, placing it on the rim of the glass.
