Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare a garnish by twisting lemon zest and skewering a Luxardo Maraschino cherry.

Shake the oude genever, freshly squeezed lemon juice, rich sugar syrup, and your choice of egg white, Vegg White vegan egg white alternative, or Fee Brothers Fee Foam with ice. Optionally, add a few drops of saline solution if desired.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled Old Fashioned glass.

Express the lemon zest twist over the cocktail to release its oils, then discard the twist.
