Summer in Manhattan

Chill a cocktail coupe by filling it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail.

In a mixing glass, combine the rye, amaro, dry vermouth, and aromatized wine.

Add a dash of Angostura Orange bitters and a few drops of Fee Brothers Black Walnut bitters.

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir until well chilled.

Discard the ice water from the cocktail coupe and double strain the mixture into it.

Express the oils from a twist of lemon peel over the drink, then use it as a garnish.
