The Zapatero Old Fashioned

Chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare a garnish by twisting an orange peel, grating fresh cinnamon, and skewering a candied cranberry.

Stir the Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal, bourbon, Monin Almond (Orgeat) syrup, Angostura Aromatic Bitters, and mole bitters with ice until well-chilled.

Strain into the prepared Old Fashioned glass filled with ice, preferably using a large cube or chunk of block ice.

Express the orange zest twist over the cocktail to release the oils, then place it as a garnish.

Finish by lightly dusting the drink with freshly grated cinnamon and adding the skewered candied cranberry on top.
