Old Hickory

Stir the hickory-smoked bourbon, rye, Virgin Islands rum, demerara syrup, and barbecue bitters together with ice in a mixing glass until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into an Old Fashioned glass over a large ice cube.

Garnish with a twist of orange peel, expressing the oils over the drink before placing it in the glass.
