Forgot Bitters

Prepare a cocktail coupe by expressing the oils from a grapefruit rind into the frozen glass. Wipe the rim with the rind, then place it inside the glass. Return the glass to the freezer to maintain its chill.

In a shaker, combine the gin, Crème de Violette, aromatized wine, and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. Add ice and shake vigorously until well-chilled.

Strain the mixture into the prepared frozen coupe glass and serve.
