Liquorice Whisky Sour

Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare a garnish of grated liquorice.

Shake the blended Scotch whisky, liquorice liqueur, freshly squeezed lemon juice, rich sugar syrup, and your choice of egg white, vegan alternative, or cocktail foamer with ice.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled Old Fashioned glass.

Dust the cocktail with the grated liquorice garnish.
