Retox Cocktail

Prepare a salt rim on your cocktail coupe.

Muddle the jalapeño slice directly in the glass.

Combine the maple syrup, lime juice, and reposado tequila in a shaker filled with ice.

Shake vigorously until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into the prepared cocktail coupe, serving with or without ice as preferred.
