Start with these components prepared in advance: Mezcal (Sombra (Cacao Nib Infused)).

Stir the cacao nib infused mezcal, walnut liqueur, Cynar, Ancho Reyes chile liqueur, and bitters with ice until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail coupe.

Garnish with an expressed orange peel, releasing the citrus oils over the drink before placing it on top.
