Fill a highball glass partially with root beer and set it aside.

Combine the gin, Cynar, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white in a mixing tin. Dry shake without ice.

Add the cream to the mixture and dry shake again.

Introduce ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for a short duration.

Strain out the ice from the shaker, then dry shake the mixture one final time.

Pour the contents into the prepared highball glass and allow it to settle.

Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg and serve with a straw.
