Jersey Buck

Shake the rye, apple brandy, Averna, lime juice, and allspice dram vigorously with ice to chill and combine.

Strain the mixture over fresh ice and ginger beer in a copper mug.

Garnish with an apple slice, a lime wheel, or both, as you prefer.
