Add the blended Scotch and Averna into the mixture.

Fill a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.

Rinse a cocktail coupe with Herbsaint, coating the interior, then discard any excess.

Strain the mixed cocktail into the prepared coupe.

Garnish with a twist of orange peel, expressing its oils over the drink before placing it in the glass.
