Use 2:1 demerara sugar syrup for its listed portion.
Chill your martini glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.
Combine Fernet Branca, rye, sweet vermouth, Ramazzotti, simple syrup, and a couple of dashes of bitters in a mixing glass.
Add ice to the mixing glass and stir gently until the mixture is well chilled.
