Chill a martini glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water.

In a mixing glass, combine the gin, sweet vermouth, Cynar, and maraschino liqueur.

Add a dash of orange bitters to the mixing glass.

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture until well chilled.

Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass.
