Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare mint sprigs for garnish.

Shake the mint leaves, oude genever, mezcal, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and rich sugar syrup with ice until well combined and chilled.

Fine strain the mixture into the pre-chilled Old Fashioned glass filled with crushed ice.

Garnish with a bouquet of mint sprigs.
