Chill a cocktail coupe in preparation for serving.

Prepare a garnish by twisting a strip of orange zest, setting it aside for later use.

Combine the gin, cognac orange liqueur, dry vermouth, vermouth amaro, freshly squeezed lemon juice, freshly squeezed orange juice, rich sugar syrup, and a dash of orange bitters in a shaker with ice.

Shake the mixture vigorously to chill and blend the ingredients.

Fine strain the cocktail into the pre-chilled coupe glass.

Express the orange zest over the cocktail to release its essential oils, then use it as a garnish.
