Combine the bourbon, Averna, Pedro Ximénez Sherry, triple sec, and Aztec Chocolate bitters in a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously.
Add the stout to the mixture and gently mix by pouring from the top to the bottom of the shaker.
Strain the cocktail into a chilled cocktail coupe over half of a large ice cube.
Finish by squeezing a wedge of orange over the drink to release its oils, and then garnish with the wedge.
