Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.
Select a heat-resistant glass and pre-chill it.
Prepare a garnish of freshly grated nutmeg.
Combine the Irish whiskey, Strucchi Rosso Vermouth, Pimento dram, rich sugar syrup, and a fresh egg in a shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously.
Strain the mixture back into the shaker, discarding the ice.
Shake again without ice to emulsify the egg.
Fine strain the cocktail into the pre-chilled glass.
Finish by dusting with the freshly grated nutmeg.
