Muddle the mint leaves gently at the bottom of a shaker to release their oils.

Add the Islay Scotch, freshly squeezed lime juice, simple syrup, and herbal liqueur to the shaker.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into a chilled Cocktail Coupe.

Garnish with a sprig of mint to finish.

Serve the strained cocktail over fresh ice in the Cocktail Coupe.
