Select an Old Fashioned glass and pre-chill it.

Rinse the chilled glass with La Fée Parisienne absinthe, ensuring to discard any excess.

In a separate mixing glass, combine the cognac, blended Scotch whisky, Cynar or other carciofo amaro, Green Chartreuse or alternative herbal liqueur, and Luxardo Maraschino liqueur. Add ice and stir the mixture well.

Strain the stirred mixture into the absinthe-rinsed glass, serving it neat with no ice.

Serve without any garnish.
