Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and chill a cocktail coupe in preparation for serving.

Prepare a lemon slice wheel to use as a garnish.

Combine the cognac, Calvados or apple brandy, Green Chartreuse, freshly squeezed lemon juice, rich sugar syrup, and a dash of Angostura Aromatic Bitters in a cocktail shaker.

Add ice to the shaker and shake the mixture well.

Fine strain the cocktail into the pre-chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with the prepared lemon slice wheel.
