Chill a highball glass by filling it with ice.
In a mixing glass, combine gin, pear liqueur, lime juice, and allspice dram.
Add ice and stir the mixture well to chill and dilute slightly.
Strain the mixture into the prepared highball glass over fresh ice.
Top with tonic water, allowing it to gently mix with the spirits.
Garnish with a wedge of orange, gently resting it on the rim of the glass.
