Canadian Tuxedo

Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare a garnish by slicing a fresh strawberry.

Combine the gentian liqueur, Amaro Montenegro, Canadian rye whisky, and freshly squeezed lemon juice in a mixing glass.

Stir the mixture with ice until well chilled.

Strain the cocktail into the pre-chilled Old Fashioned glass filled with fresh ice, preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice.

Finish by garnishing with the sliced strawberry.
