Combine the rum, Oloroso sherry, and passion fruit syrup in a mixing glass.

Add the Islay Scotch and bitters to the mixture.

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir until well chilled.

Strain the cocktail into an Old Fashioned Glass over one large ice cube.
