Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill a cocktail coupe glass.

Prepare a garnish by cutting a coin-sized twist of orange zest.

Shake the cognac, green chartreuse, rose petal liqueur, freshly squeezed lemon juice, rich sugar syrup, and egg white with ice. Strain the mixture back into the shaker.

Dry shake the ingredients without ice to emulsify.

Fine strain the mixture into the pre-chilled cocktail coupe.

Top the cocktail by pouring the brut champagne or sparkling wine directly into the center.

Express the orange zest twist over the cocktail and use it as a garnish to cover any hole in the foam left by the sparkling wine.
