In a mixing glass, combine the gin, Amaro Nardini, and sweet vermouth.

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir gently until the mixture is well-chilled and properly diluted.

Discard the ice from the martini glass and strain the cocktail into it.

Express the oils from a lemon peel over the surface of the cocktail, then use it as a garnish.
