These quantities make two cocktails. Divide the finished drink between two chilled coupe glasses.

Combine the gin, orange liqueur, aromatized wine, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, absinthe, orange bitters, and egg white in a cocktail shaker, reserving the lemon peel for later.

Dry shake the mixture thoroughly to incorporate the egg white.

Add a generous amount of ice to the shaker and shake vigorously once more to chill and dilute.

Strain the cocktail equally into the two chilled coupe glasses.

Express the lemon peel over each glass to release its aromatic oils and add the peel to the glass as a garnish.
