Final Ward Eight

Combine the rye, freshly squeezed lemon juice, herbal liqueur, Maraschino liqueur, grenadine, and fresh orange juice in a shaker.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish elegantly with an orange twist. Alternatively, consider a cherry or a lemon twist for a different accent, or opt for no garnish at all.
