Chill a cocktail coupe by placing it in the freezer.

In a cocktail shaker, add mezcal or tequila, depending on your preference.

Pour in the triple sec, followed by the Ancho Reyes chile liqueur.

Add the blue curaçao and freshly squeezed lime juice.

Sprinkle in a dash of salt.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into the prepared frozen coupe glass.
