Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Prepare toasted coconut demerara syrup: bring 4.5 cans coconut milk and 15 oz water to a simmer; the source does not specify can volume. Remove from heat, add half a quart toasted coconut chips, cover and steep 1 hour. Strain and weigh the liquid, then add twice that weight of demerara sugar and stir to dissolve. Quickly shake all listed drink liquids with ice and strain over crushed ice in a Belgian beer glass. Finish with pineapple fronds and a mint sprig.
