Dice the pear and apple into cubes.

Combine the diced fruit with sugar, cloves, cinnamon, orange and lemon peels, water, and soft red wine in a pan.

Bring the mixture to a boil over the heat.

Allow it to simmer for a brief period.

Turn off the heat and carefully pour into a heat-resistant glass.

Serve immediately while warm.
