Matcha Green Russian

Begin by creating a matcha green tea liqueur. In a small pot, combine the milk, sugar, vanilla bean (seeds and pod), and Numi Citrus Matcha.

Warm the mixture over medium-low heat. Whisk continuously until the sugar dissolves completely and the ingredients are well combined, leaving out the vanilla bean pod.

Remove the pot from the heat and extract the vanilla pod. Allow the mixture to cool thoroughly.

Transfer the cooled green tea mixture into a pitcher. Add the vodka and mix well to integrate.

Fill an Old Fashioned Glass with an abundance of ice.

Pour in the matcha green tea liqueur. Carefully float fresh cream over the top to create a layered effect.

Finish with a light dusting of matcha powder for garnish.
