Use the specified component styles before mixing. Required component: Simple syrup (Plum-ginger - see note).

Begin by cutting a coin-sized slice of plum flesh and place it in your shaker.

Muddle the plum slice to release its juices.

Add gin, simple syrup infused with plum and ginger, junmai sake, and freshly squeezed lemon juice to the shaker.

Fill the shaker with large ice cubes and shake vigorously until well-chilled.

Double strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail coupe to achieve a smooth texture.

Serve your Ume Klug, crisp and refreshing.
