Rude Cosmopolitan

Chill a martini glass in advance to ensure a crisp serving temperature.

Prepare an orange zest twist to use as a garnish.

Combine the reposado tequila, Cointreau L'Unique, cranberry juice, and freshly squeezed lime juice in a shaker. If desired, add a few drops of saline solution or a pinch of salt for a subtle enhancement.

Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously until well-chilled.

Fine strain the mixture into the pre-chilled martini glass.

Express the oils from the orange zest twist over the cocktail, then place the twist on the rim as a garnish.
