Select an Old Fashioned Glass and place the sugar inside.

Add small lumps of ice and a few dashes of Boker's bitters.

Pour in the whiskey and stir thoroughly with a spoon until all ingredients are well mixed.

Express a piece of lemon peel over the top to release its oils.

Serve the cocktail in the same glass.
