Select and pre-chill a highball glass.

Moisten the rim of the glass with lime or orange juice, then dip it into salt to coat the edge.

Cut the passion fruit in half and scoop out the flesh into a shaker.

Add the blanco tequila, triple sec liqueur, freshly squeezed lime juice, and pineapple juice to the shaker.

Shake the mixture vigorously with ice.

Strain the contents into the pre-chilled, ice-filled highball glass.
