Bark at the Moon

Stir the brown butter washed rum, rye, Averna, Pedro Ximénez Sherry, cinnamon syrup, and bitters together in a mixing glass with ice until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into an Old Fashioned glass over a large ice cube.

Garnish with a twist of orange peel, expressing the oils over the top before placing it in the glass.
