Fig and Sage

Muddle the sage leaves gently in your mixing glass.

Add the Irish whiskey, fig syrup, and freshly squeezed lemon juice to the muddled sage.

Shake the mixture vigorously with ice to chill and combine the flavors.

Double strain the cocktail into an Old Fashioned glass filled with fresh ice.

Garnish with a sage leaf, rubbing it around the rim of the glass before placing it on top.
