Nevermore

Combine the mezcal, Averna, Gran Classico, maple syrup, salt solution, and orange bitters in a mixing glass.

Add ice to the mixing glass and stir until well chilled.

Strain the mixture over a large ice sphere or rock in an Old Fashioned glass.

Garnish with a flamed orange twist to release its aromatic oils over the drink.
