Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare orange and lemon zest twists for garnish.

Stir the cognac, straight rye whiskey, Liquore Strega, amaro, hazelnut liqueur, and orgeat syrup with ice.

Strain the mixture into the pre-chilled Old Fashioned glass filled with ice, preferably using a large cube or chunk of block ice.

Express the orange and lemon zests over the cocktail, then use both zests as garnish.
