Select and pre-chill a Nick & Nora glass.

Prepare a garnish of grapefruit zest and a mini gingerbread man or skewered crystallized ginger.

Shake the mezcal, dry curaçao, freshly squeezed lemon juice, gingerbread syrup, dry vermouth, vanilla bitters, and saline solution with ice.

Fine strain the mixture into the chilled glass.

Express the grapefruit zest twist over the cocktail, then discard it.

Garnish with a mini gingerbread man or skewered crystallized ginger.
