Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.
Select and pre-chill a cocktail coupe.
Prepare a garnish of freshly grated nutmeg.
Shake the London dry gin, crème de menthe, whipping cream, sugar syrup, and optionally, the egg white or its alternatives, with ice. Strain the mixture back into the shaker.
Dry shake the mixture without ice.
Fine strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with a dusting of freshly grated nutmeg.
