Rinse the Old Fashioned glass with Allspice Dram, ensuring it coats the interior evenly.

In a mixing glass, combine the rye, herbal liqueur (Yellow Chartreuse), sweet vermouth (Carpano), and bitters (Angostura).

Add ice to the mixing glass and stir until the mixture is well chilled.

Strain the cocktail over a large ice cube in the prepared Old Fashioned glass.

Garnish with a twist of orange peel, gently expressing its oils over the drink before placing it in the glass.
