Detroit Martini No. 2

Select and pre-chill a martini glass.

Prepare a mint leaf for garnish.

Shake the vodka, vermouth, sugar syrup, mint leaves, and freshly squeezed lime juice with ice.

Fine strain the mixture into the pre-chilled martini glass.

Garnish with the mint leaf, either floating on the cocktail or affixed to the rim with a touch of honey.
