Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Add the bourbon whiskey, Dubonnet or similar rouge light quinquina, and Amaro to a mixing glass.

Stir the ingredients with ice until well-chilled.

Strain the mixture into the prepared Old Fashioned glass filled with fresh ice.

Serve without any garnish.
