Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Muddle a thumbnail-sized slice of fresh ginger root at the base of a shaker.

Add honey and Havana Club Original Añejo 3 Años Cuban rum, then stir until the honey is fully dissolved.

Incorporate freshly squeezed lime juice and rich sugar syrup into the mixture.

Shake with ice vigorously, then fine strain the concoction into an ice-filled highball glass.
