Muddle the mint, strawberries, and bitters in a cocktail shaker.
Fill the shaker with crushed ice, then add the Licor 43 and bourbon.
Stir the mixture thoroughly.
Add more crushed ice to the shaker and stir again.
Repeat the process of adding crushed ice and stirring one more time for optimal chilling and dilution.
Double strain the cocktail into a chilled Julep Cup.
